At the beginning of the 20th century, due to the ever-increasing volume of mail, the need for a separate post office was noted for the first time in the historical archives.
1907/08
Construction of the Postbahnhof by the architects Wilhelm and Walter Tuckermann on behalf of the Berlin Oberpostdirektion.
1939-1945
By the beginning of the Second World War, the Postbahnhof had developed into one of the most important postal distributors in the German Reich. During the war, the Postbahnhof remained almost unscathed.
1956-1966
An increased volume of mail by the German Democratic Republic causes the expansion of the outbound packing chamber by an extension, the so-called "bag".
until 1990
Until the end of the division of Germany, the Postbahnhof was used for some time. Only with the conversion of postal traffic to the aircraft did the Postbahnhof have to cease operations.
1995-2022
Conversion of the "Eingangspackkammer" into an event location. Usage of the "Abgangspackkammer" as office space by companies in the e-commerce segment.

Revitalization of the former Postbahnhof and conversion into a modern office building that complements the existing company headquarters.
