After surviving two world wars and the rise and fall of the wall, the Postbahnhof stands as one of the last truly unique, high capacity event venues in Berlin city centre. Completed in 1907, it’s historical character can be seen in the high gothic windows, red brick walls and cut stone arches. Whether its conference, exhibition or dinner events – Postbahnhof will give it the true Berlin flair.

The Spaces
The location has 2600m², with a capacity for 1.700 guests. There are 2 main event spaces available, the Arrival Hall and the Hammer. The ‘Eingangspackkammer’ or ‘Arrival Hall’ is a breathtaking room and the heart of the Postbahnhof, that functions as the main event space. Previously a train station, the room is filled with windows and natural light. The Hammer was the former Fritz club, with its brick walls, exposed steel beam and high windows it delivers a picturesque background for any activity.

Current Situation
At the start of 2019, the Postbahnhof changed ownership. At the same time extensive renovations began in the landmark building. The former train station has been equipped with all modern facilities required for producing events and concerts. It now meets all construction, building protection and fire safety standards. Furthermore, Berlin event agency, UP Event Creation, have taken over to ensure the smooth running of the location. The experienced team specialises in large scale, high quality (corporate) events in historic locations. With an impressive client portfolio, ranging from multinational tech giants to local agencies, UP Event Creation was the perfect fit for Postbahnhof.

The tradition of iconic events in the former station will be continuing permanently with plans to continue the impressive corporate events with the addition of concerts in 2020.

Now, there is a new ownership behind the space and with it, a new event team. It is a fresh start, and everyone is committed to bringing Postbahnhof to a new higher level of quality and experience in the long term.
